At Any Cost 04:52
There in the sun She's laughing loud and having fun Talking about the mountains she has climbed and the ribbons inside And all I can do Is tap my foot and wait til 2 When I can be king of my little world again No you won't No you won't Kick me when I'm down But I'm always down And I just stared and sat when you said I wasn;t where it's at But you wouldn't know where it was If you were tied down in the mud On your back looking up at a sign that said You are here Let's start again We'll show them all One day we'll be ten feet tall And no one will ever tell us to relax These are just the facts With our sights set high The limit will be the blue sky And we will never think back on these days again No they won't No they won't Tell us right from wrong cause we don't have long To smile and have a blast We're told it goes by too fast And we won't live as they choose to With a window as their view Wondering what could've been What world are they living in? Now my hair is gray At least what's left of it today But my smile still comes to me easily I've lived the hell out of life I've raised my kids I love my wife And those who scorned me tell me they believed all along

Hold On 03:29
All I have to give is my song You found my switch now Turn it on the nighttime never lasted this long Hold On to me Hold On Where do we go from here I'd have an answer if the answer was clear Don't allow your doubts to interfere Hold On to me Hold On the stars are forming pictures overhead You study the cracks on the sidewalk instead It's passing you by Don;t let me pass you by See things from other sides Understand what you can find Swallow your precious pride Hold On to me Hold On Dive into the unknown Call a strange land home You'll never be alone Hold On to me Hold On the stars are forming pictures overhead You study the cracks on the sidewalk instead It's passing you by Don;t let me pass you by All I have to give is my song You found my switch now Turn it on the nighttime never lasted this long Hold On to me Hold On Dive into the unknown Call a strange land home You'll never be alone Hold On to me

I've been waiting I've been patient But the view from the side could not justify the feeling It's been raining On this painting Oh, the colors might run but I'll never leave your side If I should live Until The End Would your sweet love come in I'm much too tired of wonderin' I've been on this road for years Is the destination near I'll keep rollin a million miles from here Oh you smile Like a child And I can't find the words to bring you home to my world Give me something Let me know where you're at I can never imagine ever turning back Cause I know I know it's real I know I lie awake and wonder what I've done To deserve such a sentence For a crime Of my heart I never will repent If I should live Until The End...... If I should live Until The End......

I am an honest working man Been born and still living in this town I have no enemies at all But I don't care much for Goodman Brown I hear him call my name when I sleep at night Gotten to be about every third day Wants me to walk into the night He wants to turn my blue skies to grey. Well Goodman Brown is here Saying why don't you come out your door Well, Goodman, I know that's what you want me to do But me, I said, I don't know for sure I hear him call my name when I sleep at night Gotten to be about every third day Wants me to walk into the night He wants to turn my blue skies to grey. Goodman looked puzzled, yes he did Took a few steps away before he turned What a beautiful night to come with me, my son What a beautiful night to see all your idols burned I hear him call my name when I sleep at night Gotten to be about every third day Wants me to walk into the night He wants to turn my blue skies to grey. Now, Goodman Brown, I said it in the past I don;t want to see you round here anymore With this said, I pray he lets me sleep now Cause the Good Lord knows he hasn't let me sleep before I hear him call my name when I sleep at night Gotten to be about every third day Wants me to walk into the night He wants to turn my blue skies to grey.

As You Were 03:05
People these days aren't just who they used to As I lay here in my hammock by the sea And New York City never loved you in return When exactly are they ever gonna learn? You could be Eternally A double shot of inspiration for those without a voice It's your choice You're not alone The straight and narrow never brought a spaceman home And they can check their mailbox 5, 6 times a day It's not what's going there it's when you dream away It's when you take that dive It's when you feel alive It's when you learn your meant to do more than survive Look at me I don't see Another way to go about my unwritten plan And I don't need a map But I could use a nap The salt air opens up my brain As You Were...

Mine 05:23
Do that dance for me Show me all it's worth Right now, you're all that matters on this Earth Senorita dressed in white Brighter than the moon And hotter than the midday sun in June Oh I got this feeling That I've reached the finish line Guess it's time to stop this running And start making Start making you Mine Oh, she caught me staring But I can't look away I'm working on the perfect thing to say Hello, how are you tonight all I want is you to feel these loving feeling that I do Oh I got this feeling That I've reached the finish line Guess it's time to stop this running And start making Start making you Mine She doesn't speak the language But she smiles just the same I take her hand and lead my girl away Midnight eases into dawn Everyone's a blur I'm waking up tomorrow next to her Oh I got this feeling That I've reached the finish line Guess it's time to stop this running And start making Start making you Mine

Highway calls me in my sleep Things the same I just can't keep Shake the 8 ball up and drop it on the floor Maybe I can stay a little more Or maybe I'm just looking for an excuse Don't think I'm trying to cut you loose Don't think I mean to leave you behind But you've gotta look for something before you can find And I won't forget this Chapter In My Book I'll keep a marker here for when I want to look back at all the times Listen when I say I'm going for a while But not going away Maybe it's just better if you go Then when I leave you won;t exactly know we can pretend that I'm still right down the street But we're just too busy everyday to meet Or maybe we can but over the phone Voices keeping us from being alone Stories told from afar across a wire Will be the extra gust of wind upon my fire And I won't forget this Chapter In My Book I'll keep a marker here for when I want to look back at all the times Listen when I say I'm going for a while But not going away In the spotlight without a net No room in my pocket to carry regret No room for tricks up my clinging sleeve With you all here, you know It's hard for me to leave But I have to go, and I know it'll be ok We're smart enough and strong enough to find our own way And I have no doubt we'll figure out just what it's all about And like I said my friend I'll be back again to give you a shout. And I won't forget this Chapter In My Book I'll keep a marker here for when I want to look back at all the times Listen when I say

about

Right On Time is Mike's solo debut album featuring eight original songs.
